I've been wanting to do fanart for some really awesome people on DA for quite a while now, and I am just getting around to cranking it out one piece at a time.

This is the first of several sketches that I managed to finish. It's fitting that I got it done first, too, since Gwen was one of the first anthro artists I encountered here, and has had a great impact on my art. She was one of the talented few who inspired me to start drawing anthro characters, who intruduced me to the genre, really, and her art has really inspired me as an artist. Hell, she was the one who inspired me to abandon my old ways of drawing stick girls and to start drawing thicker, bustier ladies! She's also inspired my colouring quite a bit, and I still really admire her and adore her work.

So, here's to you Gwen. I'm sure the backs of Gwen's ears aren't purple, but I wanted them that way.
